Mountain of Helpfulness

Yesterday was a CRAZY day. I didn't have one second to breathe all day long. It wasn't a bad day, just really really busy. I taxied children places, worked on homework, bathed everyone, and generally scurried about like a nervous little squirrel all day long.

T had a meeting last night immediately after dinner so I was on my own putting the kiddos to bed. By the time I finished feeding Q (who isn't very efficient yet) it was 8:45 PM and I still had to finish my lecture for tonight. (I'll go into more details on that tomorrow.) Needless to say, the dinner dishes were left for the morning. So I got up a little early this morning, got dressed and headed downstairs to tackle the kitchen mess only to find that a little elf had already done everything. The dishwasher was emptied and filled again, the sink was clear, the table was wiped down. Everything. It was magical.

I'd like to introduce you to my little elf. (Okay, so he's not so little. He's more like an awesome mountain of manly helpfulness.)

Thanks T. I love you to bits. I don't know what I'd do without you.

On the mountain of helpfulness note, looking for Christmas card ideas? You've simply got to check out the Luxe blog. They have tons of adorable ideas. Seriously. Love them all.

I think he got that from his father. Gotta love guys who think more of others and their needs and not their own. Thanks for sharing a picture of that handsome guy!
