Bad Girls December Kit

Here are my December projects for Bad Girls! After a bit of a delay, the kit was revealed today so hurry over and take a look!

My project is a hanging basket. It is versatile enough to be used during any season.

And my layouts. This one is of my little twin nephews. Aren't they cute?

Inner Peace
is my response to Wendy's challenge to scrap what brings us peace. You can read my journaling below. I made the edges look burned by using two different color inks. First, I inked with a dark brown and I followed with black.

With all the demands on my time, it is important for me to have INNER PEACE. Stemming from two main sources. First is listening to and following my personal heartsong. My heart is devoted to creation: creating a home, a family, an artful life. My husband, my children, my work bring me happiness and fulfillment. The second source is my FAITH in God. I know that the details are in His hands and that all things, even my most painful heartaches, will work to my ultimate good. This, I know to be true. And that is why I have great peace.

This is my favorite layout. These pictures are of my mom on her 4th birthday. I think that E looks so much like her.

And my last layout of C. This picture is simply gorgeous. It really carries the entire spread.

If you just can't get enough of me. (giggle...)I wrote a little article for the Bad Girls blog called Creating Outside the Box, if you have time, check it out. I'm also up for questioning in the messageboard. (Go to Blah, Blah, Blah; then find the thread: Ask Bethany) Each day the kit was delayed was another day for the members to question a member of the DT. Today is my day for questioning. So come over and ask your most burning questions. I'll do my best to be wise. See you there!
