Oh, yeah, that's right, I lost 1.5 days due to some horrible stomach virus. I woke up on Sunday planning on speaking in church, conducting interviews after church and entertaining neighbors afterward. However, that nasty virus had other plans and I stayed in bed all day. I could hardly move. T handled everything. (Thank you sweetie!) The kids were a bit worried about me, but seemed to enjoy themselves immensely under T's care. They had pop and pizza for lunch and pop and taquitos for dinner. Quite the day considering pop is normally an infrequent treat. Monday was a bit of a wash for me too. Luckily, I woke up today full of my regular vigor and vim. (I'm not sure what vim is, but I certainly have it on a regular basis.) I caught up on all the chores and even had time to do a bit of creating.
Speaking of which, here are some little things I made for the vintage swap that I'm doing with some of the Bad Girls. They could be ornaments, tags, whatever. I'm leaving that open to the recipient. Each one is personalized. This just happens to be my prototype. They are about 4 inches in diameter.
Do you see that gorgeous vintage glass glitter on the edges? Isn't that simply lovely? Yeah, I'm pretty proud of that, baby.
I'd also like to direct your attention to the Luxe blog. They are doing a 13 days before Halloween thing and it is really cool. They are selling very fun kits for el cheapo and will feature various Halloween projects. Pretty impressive.

So glad to see a new post up! Your vintage tags look lovely, of course.
I think that sometimes I may have excess "vim"...maybe I should bottle the extra and use as necessary :)
I love edging things and have yet to get my hands on some vintage glass sprinkles.....but it's been on my list for ages and this made me want it even more!! :)
