No More

I planned on using this layout in a design team application, but decided against it at the last minute, so now I can share it freely. We call my Dad Dot so that is why I incorporated that Dots playing card and why I used that awesome Luxe background paper.


My mom took this picture of my dad on the swings at Disneyland. You can't see his face very well, but it is clear that he is suffering greatly from motion sickness. I don't know how my mom always gets the shot that captures the moment perfectly, but she does. It is a fabulous talent.

I hope that you can see his sick face in this close-up.

Journaling: Despite his intense motion sickness issues, Dad really wanted to ride on the spinning swings at Disneyland. By the look on his face, I’d say he didn’t enjoy it much.

Today was such a great day for me because I finally feel ready to have this baby. I just picked up everything that I needed for my hospital stay and all the stuff that the family will need to run smoothly both during my stay and afterward. Halloween costumes are almost ready, baby supplies are put away and I even got a few things for the big kids to do while Grammy is here. It is such a feeling of relief. Now, when this little dude decides to show his face, I won't be all panicky. (At least not more than usual...)
