Say Hello

I just completed this layout for both Pencil Lines and Scrap Mojo challenges. The challenge at Scrap Mojo was to use the words: Say Hello to my little friend somewhere in the layout which made me immediately think of the sweet babe growing inside me. So I used ultrasound pics of him. I always find those ultrasound pics difficult to scrapbook because they are always blurry and of somewhat body parts so I'm pretty proud of this piece.

A few closeups. I placed the damask (thanks Stephanie!) on top of my vintage text. I really like how it looks.


You may notice that the E looks a little different. I actually ran out of Es and used an 8 instead. I just cut it a bit.


I love how this layout isn't all baby-baby. There is an edgy feel thanks to the damask, pirate paper, and the crow. I found the tickets in my stash and love how they fit in. It is really exciting when I can use something that I totally didn't expect. The chair is just symbolic of the entire family waiting for his arrival in a few months.
