Acrylic Album

I finally finished my mom's Christmas acrylic mini-album a few weeks ago and thought that I'd post it here. This was my first time working with an acrylic album and I found adhesion challenging. I think if I had a better glue, I'd like the process more. I still like how it turned out even if a discerning eye can see my glue dots. Each page includes a photo and a little paragraph or sentence on why we love my mom. Most of the products are Glitz, but I added quite a few things from my stash.

A special thank you to Sweetpea who was my model. She is so patient! What would I do without her?

EEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKK! Love this!

I'm super intimidated when it comes to acrylic albums.. i think it's cause you have to plan both sides of your project to keep it flowing. if you find any other tricks reference the glue, let me now...LOL

Just gorgeous Miss Verro... a gift that will be savoured for years I bet!

What kind of adhesive would you suggest using? I have been wanting to do an acrylic album, but was thinking finding the right adhesive could be a problem.
Your album turned out super cute, I'm sure your mom will love it!

love this! you look like your mom, too! I've made one acrylic one before - it was fun, but I had glue issues, too.

oh WOW Bethany, I'm sure she'll love it! It turned out GORGEOUS! i love working with acrylic. I've found the best adhesive (if you don't plan to cover it up on the other side) is actually diamond glaze or zip dry!

Oh Wow, this is just fabulous! I love the colours and I bet your mum is so thrilled with it. I love working with acrylic and usually just cover up any glue bits on the other side!

It looks great! Did you try spray adhesive? I've never done an acrylic albume because I didn't know which glue to use! :P
