Around the Block Layouts

Here are the two layouts that I completed for Scrap Shanty's March Sponsor, Around the Block. I particularly enjoyed doing Dog Play because it just seemed to fall together, but Zest for Life was a bit more of a struggle. I almost tossed the entire thing and started over. Luckily, I left it out for a few days and my love for it grew with time. I've done this with a few layouts so now I always leave my creations before destroying because I almost always end up liking them.

I did this for Scrap Shanty’s March Sponsor: Around the Block

Journaling: Cameron and Casey have a special relationship. It’s a bit rough and a bit slobby and a bit smelly but they are good friends anyway. Photos taken 8.07

Techniques: I put rub ons on buttons, made a photo corner using cardstock and gaffer tape
Cardstock: Bazzil
Pattern paper: Around the Block
Stamps: Fancy Pants
Stickers: epoxy b&w : KI Memories; Epoxy pink heart: Around the Block; Alphabet: Around the Block; Circle sticker: Creative Imaginations
Ink: StazOn and Ranger Black Soot
Pens: Micron and Zig
Buttons: unknown manufacturer
Rub-ons: MM
Ribbon: Unknown manufacturer

Other: Charming card: Paper Salon; lined card: Creative Imaginations; brads and gaffer tape: 7 Gypsies, silver stars are unknown manufacturer; Square chipboard bought at Recollections; circle paper clip from packaging

I did this for Scrap Shanty’s March Sponsor: Around the Block

Journaling: Zoey is so passionate and zany. She’s a pure joy to be around. 10.07

Techniques: I freehanded the swirl, cut it out and adhered. I used an Around the Block tagger gun to adhere all the flower tags
Cardstock: Bazzil
Pattern paper: Around the Block
Stickers: Alphabet and epoxy Hello: Around the Block; epoxy stickers: KI Memories
Pens: micron
Ribbon: Offray pink ric rack; green ribbon is from packaging
Rub-ons: MM “dare to”

Other: flower tags, tagger gun, tags and happy clip: Around The Block

Loving Dog Play- so much to look at on it but it all works so well together. And I really like how you've repeated the title using just the outline on the second one. Awesome pages!
