One More Layout

Just finished this layout for Scrap Shanty's December sponsor DCWV. (I'm not late on my deadline, I just received my products last week, just so you know...) I just love this photo and I'm glad that the layout turned out worthy of such a delight. I tried to sew the wavy lines in the background, but my sewing machine is having issues right now so I had to resort to my pink Zig pen.

Journaling: Danika just adores playing in the water. We went to a splash park in October 2007 and she giggled and smiled the entire time. It was joyful to watch her.
Techniques: I painted the chipboard letters pink and before the paint had dried, I sprinkled on art glitter

Things have been pretty busy around here, as usual. I've been working around the clock to meet my deadlines and I'm almost done. Whew. Hopefully when the whirlwind dies down I'll be able to hmmm, organize my space? I feel pretty proud that I took down the Christmas lights yesterday and that I'm almost done packing away the Christmas decorations. And I even vacuumed 2/3 kids' rooms this morning. I'm really on a roll now!
