Journaling: My sister Jordan is absolutely beautiful. She has a great sense of style and photographs like a model. Not only that, her personality is just as gorgeous as her face. 8.07

And for my final project, a Valentine's Day card. It originally was going to be horizontal (hence the sideways background hearts) but I changed my mind at the last minute. I still like the effect, though. To make the center heart, I stuck a heart outline sticker to a square of black felt, sewed around it using a zigzag stitch, then cut it out. I adhered it to the pattern paper using Glue Arts square adhesive. I purposefully kept the card design simple so that I could show off the sewing.
And here is a bit of a blurry closeup of the heart.

I'm back at home now so I'll be creating away for the next week! I'll post as soon as I can. I'm very excited. I've got some KI Memories and DVWV goodies to use. Until then, have a great day!
