What is so interesting about finding myself in my art is that I seem to be finding myself in life. I no longer want to follow the crowd. I want to create a life that pleases me. There is going to be some serious physical and emotional overhaul in the next few months. An idea that both excites and frightens me for it is often in the cleaning out and revamping that I lose my focus and I fall into old patterns. But I know that this time is different because I am more aware. My art is forcing me to refine my style and that, my friends, is a very good thing.

I love your style!!! I think it is artsy, a little bit eclectic, but so you. I think you are so so talented in so many different areas, and I love to see all of the fun pieces you share with us!
Bethany, I love what you said about trying differnt styles helping you to discover your own. That give me hope. I feel like I'm still in search of my own style. You inspire me.
