Wax cocktails

Here are more layouts! Don't you just love the background fabric on Twins? I used Heidi Swapp's alpha masks and red acrylic paint for the title. The large flowers are also Fancy Pants and I used Technique Tuesday stamps and SU! stamps to dress them up. The photos are of Toodles and Snukie who really are a bit twinnish. You can't read the journaling, but I talk about our family's obsession with twins. If two of us are wearing the same shirt we're twins or if we do the same thing, we're twins. And of course Toodles and Snukie are twins because their coloring is alike. You get the idea. And now since we're thinking along the same lines, I've also got a twin.
I love the glittered Fancy Pants flowers and how the doodling turned out on Reach for Me. My sister-in-law Brittany took this photo of Sweetpea and I at Disneyland without my knowledge. You can imagine my delight when I saw this pearl on the CD that she sent me of photos. Did you notice the little butterfly wings on Sweetpea? Love that, don't you?Ok, I have to share what Mr. Moonie did last night. It officially goes in the Weirdest Think Ever Done category. We had a few friends over so I decorated the table with a line of tealight candles in small glass candle holders that look like shot glasses. I fancied them up by gluing a ribbon band around the middle and gluing a little knot of ribbon on spot where the two ends of ribbon meet. It was very cute and one of my better projects, I must say. Anyway, back to the story. The little boy who came over was obsessed with going down the line of candles and blowing them all out so after dinner I told him to blow to his little heart's content. Mr. Moonie saw this and wanted to participate too, so of course I held a candle for him to extinguish. Once done, I put the candle back on the table and continued chatting. I heard a sputtering sound and looked at Mr. Moonie who was choking on something. I reached over to him just as he puked all over the floor. He had tried to drink the liquid wax. Amazingly, he was not burned in any way. When he was done emptying his stomach, I cleaned out his mouth, scraped the remaining wax off his teeth and sent him on his merry way. (Luckily, Big Man handled the liquid clean-up.) Talk about bizarre! I'm just so thankful that he wasn't severely burned! He seems just fine except that he spilled wax all over his favorite Mr. Incredible tee which will need to be replaced ASAP since the boy wears it everyday. And last time I checked, Old MacDonalds (his definition of fine dining) still has a no shirt, no shoes, no service policy so I guess we won't be going there any time soon.
I'm working on getting a gallery up for you. Hope to have that done in the next week!

Again your layouts are awesome! You are so creative, and very inspiring. I love the photo that Brittany took, it's priceless.

I can't believe he didn't get burned by the wax, that IS amazing!
