Gift Journals

One of my most favorite things to do is to decorate one of those cheapo composition books that you can find almost anywhere and give it away as a gift. They are simple and still a heartfelt project.

A friend of mine was running behind and asked me to help her out by decorating a couple of journals. This is what I came up with.


The two women's initials were V and E, as you probably guessed.


Then, because I was on a roll, I made another one for a family friend. (A boy, age 8) This is my favorite one. I love the edginess of it.
