Bad Girls October Creations

Here are my October Bad Girls Kit creations. I had a lot of fun with this kit, as you can probably see with all my projects.

My favorite project is this monster wall hanging that I made for the newbie's nursery. Isn't this little monster adorable? I named this: A Cherry Disposition. I know, so clever.

Puzzle Lover is a scraplift of one of the Bad Girl members, Gina. She has such a fun style!

Journaling: Danika absolutely loves to do puzzles. She’s also very good at them!

Here's a closeup of that chipboard tree. I painted it white, doodled the stripes and glued on the buttons. It turned out really cute. Don't you love that sparkly ribbon too?

I meant to flick paint around Wanna See My New Kite, but accidentally spilled a blob of paint in the right corner. After it dried, I simply covered it up with the owl and some circles. Now you can't even tell!

In his late 50’s my dad decided to pick up kite boarding as his newest hobby. He bought this huge kite and loves showing it off to anyone who will agree to see it. He’s been reading and watching anything related to kite boarding, but hasn’t had much actual experience. (I don’t call that jump from 12 feet up, almost breaking bones, experience.) I love his enthusiasm for life. 10.06

A close-up of my spill zone.

I think that Camera Practice 1954 is my favorite layout in this series. I love the juxtaposition of the funky brown scallops and the vintage looking blue paper. I used some packaging from the Prima flowers to frame my picture too.

Grampy Musschoot loved to fiddle with his camera. Technology was his hobby. Luckily, Grammy was a willing model. I love these practice pictures.

I made the scallops by adhering circles to the back. You can see what I did in this close-up of the back of my layout.

Finally, I experimented with borders on Precious Elyssa. It is hard to see because my background is white, but the pattern paper is shaped and I adhered circles behind it to add interest to the top right corner.

Notice that I used a different pattern paper in the spaces in the E and the O. It is quite subtle.

The leaves on the flower are actually little snips of lace.
