It's happened. I can't deny it. I'm totally in the nesting phase. Yesterday, I had a mongo pile of laundry to be folded and I actually wanted to do it. My attitude toward my laundry varies from day to day, but I NEVER WANT to fold it. Oh, and I cleaned my kitchen yesterday and I enjoyed it. Yipes, I'm losing it.
As if that isn't enough proof of nesting, I have been crazy about decorating my home. We've lived here for about 6 months and until this week, I've lived a peaceful existance without any pictures on the walls. But no more! This week I've been getting all the Halloweeen decor out, buying new stuff, putting up pictures and generally beautifying the entire house.
Here are a few things that I recently acquired. The tree will be decorated this weekend. Z and I have big plans.
E is afraid of the spider, but I think it's pretty cool. So do the rest of the kiddos. I have to practically tie it down to keep them from playing with it. And of course, the crow goes with my bird obsession. I saw some life-size crows at the decor store and almost got them. How creepy is that? I'm obsessed. I'll admit it. I may need intervention.
Oh, and this sweet kitty. Isn't she adorable? I love that she's wearing mary janes and her toes are pointed ever-so-slightly inward. (By the way, the dog legs in the bottom left corner of the picture are fine. He looks like he's dead, but he isn't. Don't worry. He uses those legs to jump the 7 foot fence on a daily basis.)
And now, I'm off to put some more pictures on the wall. I just got the cutest 3 Little Pigs clock that belongs in the loft. And I've got a tooth to sew for the tooth fairy and I've got pillows to make for the loft. Someone needs to stop me. I'll exhaust myself.

hahaha you are reminding me of my DD, five times I went through this with her.
Big smiles over here...do you want to come to my house tomorrow with the kiddos so you can have a break? Then, sometime next week I can come see all the glory at your house :) {There's nothing great to see at my house right now...I am definitely not in a nesting phase--lol}
I'll give you a call tomorrow...
