Creative Juices

This last week has been a really creative one for me as I've completed 7 projects. It all started when I went through all the photos that I ripped out of magazines and adhered them to my inspiration journal. I got so many exciting ideas that I almost couldn't contain myself! It was wonderfully exciting. Here are a few of the projects that I can share. I used Dream Street papers on these. (I just discovered this cool company!)

Oh Happy Day! was fun to do with all the circles. I love how I was able to include 7 different pictures. Sometimes it is hard to do a well designed layout with so many pics.

Materials:

Journaling: When Grammy and Grampy visit there is always adventure and excitement. The kids have a blast with them! Here we are exploring a creek bed. 11.07

Cardstock: Bazzil

Pattern paper: Dream Street; SIStv; American Crafts; Bam Pop!

Stickers: Scenic Route

Ink: Ranger

Pens: American Crafts Slick Writer

Buttons: Paper Studio; unknown

Ribbon: unknown

I love the color combination on I Wish. The papers just begged to be put together. The addition of aqua was a last minute sudden decision that (in my mind) really pulls it all together. The picture is of me (the one in the swim suit) my grammy and my cousin, Mary. It was taken in 1983, I believe, in my backyard. It was fun to stumble across this picture in my pile and even more fun to scrap it.

Materials:

Journaling: That I hadn’t assumed that you would always be there. I wish I’d have listened before you started forgetting. I miss you Grammy. 1983

Pattern paper: Dream Street; vintage ledger paper, unknown aqua paper, vintage tag

Stamps: Fancy Pants

Ink: Colorbox and Ranger

Pens: Micron

Buttons: Paper Studio

Ribbon: vintage

Other: Prima flower; Maya Road metal flowers; Stampington tag; dry-wall tape; stapes; staples; Design Originals words

Today, I'm devoting myself to catching up on my photo-editing. I've got hundreds of pictures to do, so this task will probably take me into tomorrow and maybe into the next week. Once they are all done, I'll be able to place a big order and have loads of new material for my work! Yeah!

Oooh, I love these layouts Bethany!! That circle one is so much fun, and I love that you are scrapping an older photo in your second one (I keep meaning to scrap photos from my childhood, but I haven't yet!). Lucky you with all your creating - would you send some of your mojo my way please? ;-)
