Sassy Girl

I finished this layout about a month ago, but forgot to post it. I made it just after receiving my first box of Luxe goodness.

Journaling: We planned on calling you Ellie (hence Elyssa) but after we got to know you better, your nickname became Lyssie. You are just too sassy to be Ellie. 4.08

Techniques: I used bubble wrap as a background paper. I glued it to a pink cardstock, bubble side down, painted a bit with gesso to make the circles pop. I used gaffer tape as a border to make sure that everything stayed together. I also painted the title letters to match the little monster guy on the left of the picture

Cardstock: Bazzil
Pattern paper: Everything is Luxe except for the big flower that is Tinkering Ink and the blue monster that is Bam Pop
Stickers: Black circle is Creative Imagination
Pens: Faber Castell
Buttons: KI Memories
Ribbon: MM
Rub-ons: Luxe

Other: Luxe jotters; acrylic paint; bubble wrap; gesso; Basic Grey photo corners; black and white flower KI Memories; Prima flowers, brads are MM, title is Maya Road and small pink flower is Maya Road, gaffer tape by Scrapinstyletv

I am most proud of the chipboard title that I painted to match the little blue (Bam Pop!) dude on the left side of the picture. Here are some close-ups.

E does this face every time I pull out my camera. That and she runs at the camera so I can get a great extreme close-up of her face. It is pretty funny. It just shows how expressive she is. She wouldn't be a good poker player, that's for sure. However, I can't think of very many good toddler poker players. So I guess she'll make it through life okay after all.
