Today is one of those days when the magnitude of my responsibilities weighs heavily on me. All of my duties are happy ones, but they are very time consuming nonetheless. This next month will be extraordinarily busy with packing two houses to move, various design responsibilities and various household responsibilities. Always when I begin new ventures, I feel very anxious and doubt myself. The problem with this tendency is that it completely impairs me. For about an hour today, I felt very overwhelmed and a bit teary. But then a little voice reminded me of my ability to do the impossible and I felt much better. I just need to be steady like the tortoise in the fable, The Tortoise and the Hare. I can do this. I can do this.
