Internet Discoveries

As I discussed in my last post, with my neck injured, I had a lot of computer time. And I discovered a few great sites. I'll just put them here and you can visit at your leisure. Scrap Friends, Artz de Scrap, Scrappin' Kids.

Scrap Friends is an educational message board so it is right up my alley. In fact, I'd love to try out for the Review Team, but based on their duty description, I think that it might be a bit heavy on the time. They are having Tim Holtz come and chat on December 10th. Can't wait. I've been trying to think of some questions for him, but thus far, cannot. Hopefully, inspiration will strike soon. By the way, have you checked out his blog lately? Awesome techniques.

Artz de Scrap and Scrappin' Kids are both challenge sites run by Liza Yet. Beautiful artwork and very cool RAKs can be found there. Artz de Scrap is an altered challenge site. And since I adore altering stuff, I'll be visiting very often, I can tell. Their first challenge is to make an inspiration board, which I've done before so here is my magnetboard that I made out of a corkboard (which I wouldn't suggest, by the way. Cork sucks up glue like a sponge and it was very difficult to get the corners to stick.)

And some magnets made of scraps and glass pebbles.
